Dominus Pizza…Yup You Read That Right lol
Start with the dough…perhaps, depends what climate you are in. I tend to start with the sauce topping so it has time to cool before the main cook. But its all here so dig in peeps!
400 g plain flour
120 ml Warm Milk
Tsp salt
Yeast (one of those easy dry yeast sachets)
Olive oil (A glug…yeh glug it)
200ml warm water
2 tsp sugar
Knead and cover (Cling film over the bowl and prove for an hour or so at room temp)
BASE
Onion, finely chopped, plus garlic cloves, fine oil
Low heat until tender
Add 400g chopped toms
2 or 3 tsp sugar (to taste)
Half tsp chilli flakes, half tsp salt, quarter tsp freshly ground black pepper.
Slow-cook for 10 mins
Introduce 2 tsp tomato ketchup
Half tsp oregano
After a few minutes then blitz it and allow it to cool before actual prep for the oven
Once the pizza dough has doubled in size…push it out and roll it to the size required. Then prick with a fork and brush olive oil across the surface.
Then spread the Pizza Sugo, mozzarella, and any added toppings such as thinly sliced peppers, onions, anchovies, mushrooms, etc.
Sprinkle olive oil over the finished pizza.
250c oven temp, around 20 mins
Enjoy!
